This classic Morse index consists of a mahogany cylinder with nickeled revolving top. It contains two concentric ranks of holes that can be accessed by turning the top. This is the smallest size of this style of Morse index being 4 ¾” high and about 2 /8” diameter it was designed for holding a set of Morse drill bits in style 340 with places for alternate drills, size 1 to 60. The case is in Fine condition with most original finishes. It contains a few original bits, but they should be replaced with better ones. Exxwpt for a few small paint spatters, the index is Fine.
