Most of the planes that you see from Stanley’s “Aluminum Period” are heavily scratched, discolored, and somewhat corroded. This Aluminum jack plane from the mid-1920s, however, is and exeption. It it is clean, with no oxidation, and only a few light scratches can be found on the sole. The rosewood handles are perfect, with all original finish. It will be hard to find a nicer example. Fine
