This small claw hammer has a clear mark, and suffers no chipping of the face or claw. The hammer weighs 12 oz, and has a delicate look to it but a solid feel. “W. G. Smythe” is reported in the EAIA DAT to have been a name used by the Russell & Erwin Mfg. Co. on some of their tools made in the 1846 to early 1900s This hammer has good age, and a very nice shapely handle that appears to be original. It is 10 ¾” long. Good+
