This cherry level is in the relatively long 28” length and is marked with the E. C. Simmons “Keen Kutter” logo on the brass top plate. It is also stamped, “KK 0” in the wood adjacent to the top plate. The sides of the level have “handy grips” with the internal flutes that clearly mark this level was made by the Henry Disston & Sons Co for Simmons. It completely conforms to the 28” Disston No. 9 level in the Disston 1914 catalog. In very nice shape, this level only suffers one flake from the lower edge on the left side about midway along its length. It is easily Good+
