Item DR3 - Millers Falls No. 104 Hand Drill.
The
smaller of the two “Buck Rogers” hand drills (the smaller was the No. 306), this
model has a 1/4” drill diameter capacity and is about 12 /2 inches long overall
The enclosed gears run on oolite bearings and are smooth running.. This example
has a bit storage compartment in the handle that contains none of the original
fluted bits, plus. The magazine was made specifically to be able to accommodate
longer twist drill bits. Most of the original gray finish on the body remains
in good condition, and the nickel finish on the chuck is shiny. The red tenite
handles are in nice condition, with good color and no significant dings. This
model was made only between 1949 and 1960. This drill is difficult to find in
this nice condition. Easily. Good+
