Not nearly as common as the the No. 18 block plane, this has the same comfortable-to-use “knuckle joint” lever cap, and the useful adjustable throat for meeting the exact requirement of the jobs. The plane has a length of 7”, making it more useful for those with larger hands. This one is in good user condition with most of its japanning in the bed. Some of the nickel has worn from the lever cap. It is marked with the 1913 patent date on the lever cap and has a long blade that has the YY, 1920s SW mark. It is a nice user plane. Good+
